Speedpaint duo no.6 by AndreeWallin Speedpaint duo no.6 by AndreeWallin
Went a little nuts on the city.. tried to record it with camstudio, but the program fucked up around 3 hours so... all gone. :/
Thanks everyone for the recommendations, I'm gonna try camtasia next time.

why not keep it in your gallery ? the one on the right is in my opinion one of the best you did. Well not technically , but the dynamic / design are just breathtaking.

If you dont wanna deal with all the "encode/decoders" try screentoaster, is a web aplication, I did one tutorial and is insane easy. You only need let the browser minimized.

It's almost scary how good you are at this, you must be the best sci-fi artist I've ever seen on dA, keep it up! :)

If your speed paintings look this awesome, what do your slow paintings look like!?
Rutenator Featured By Owner Mar 12, 2009
That cityscape is fantastic. I wonder if you were inspired to some degree by Burj al Arab which I mentioned in the comments section of one of your deviations IIRC.
surthur Featured By Owner Mar 12, 2009  Professional Digital Artist
:D good thing you went nuts on that. it has a very decent feeling, like the major would jump around or something P:

Lol man these duos you've been busting out recently are so downright cool that they actually make me just laugh and shake my head - I don't really have another word to use, they just have a cool factor too them.

whoa. Need I post a comment? Probably not, but this is awesome.. as always.. specially the armored guys. ^^

I really hope camtasia works better for you.

This is truly amazing, I could really learn something about scenery from you. When you say "Speedpaint", how long would that be? I've always wanted to do photoshop backgrounds for my Flashes, but I never really bothered because I'm slow as hell at it, it would take me days to do this.

The architecture is amazing, I love it!
jambe Featured By Owner Mar 11, 2009
I'm really digging the architecture on this — very beautiful!

As others have suggested, I'd also recommend breaking up your recordings into chunks to minimize resource strain and also protect yourself against power-offs, program crashes, etc (losing a half-hour segment isn't near as bad as losing the whole lot, for example!).
Joncuki Featured By Owner Mar 10, 2009
have you tried FRAPS. also you might want to try to break it up into hour segments, it will be easier for you, your computer, and anyone trying to watch.
AokiBengal Featured By Owner Mar 10, 2009
Absolutely astonishing! Please take me there!!
I'd love to see this brought to reality, perhaps even a 3d rendered version.

Wow, amazing work.
dailybread5 Featured By Owner Mar 10, 2009
Nice, that figure on the right is awesome.. Maybe you should relate your next speed painting so that the panel on the left is a broad picture and the right picture is related to the left but a close up of some sort of activity..

Like a giant riot or something from the distance and then seeing the people involved on the right panel.

Just an idea for whenever.
doghateburger Featured By Owner Mar 10, 2009  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Nice painting! :D.

And yeah, If you're using cam studios, you gotta stop and save after every 20 mins or so or else It will go crazy xD
syarul Featured By Owner Mar 10, 2009  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Champ, you could save each hours of the record and start again. Afterwards you can compile them together, rather getting whacked by some nifty windows bugs of prolong exposure to our mad skills.
naytron7 Featured By Owner Mar 10, 2009  Student General Artist
