3h speedie, not sure if it turned out the way I wanted but.. I just finished Ender's game and wanted to portray the colony in which Ender and the other humans spends their last days at the end. LOVE that book.Hope you like it guys
Absolutely breathtaking. I love the way the machinery contrasts with the nature; yet they seem to blend together at the edges.... Makes me want to read the series again.
If you're interested in Ender and the colonies, definitely read the next one: Speaker for the Dead. Many say it's better than EG. I don't think so, but it is still excellent. I'd love to see a rendition of the battle school made by you
o-o Awesome. The colony started out agricultural, but I'm sure that with time, it might end up looking like this... The green landscape and grey buildings make an interesting contrast. 8D
For some reason I pictured as more of an aggrarian society with small individual domiciles. After seeing this I'm questioning my imagination and sobriety.
What medium did you use? It looks like half pastel (or maybe water colour?) and half CG. The contrast of the colours (specifically the green and grey) is amazing. awesome job.
Loved the book, this summer I have the idea of reading a passage out of the ender series (which are all nicely stacked up my shelf ) and painting what I think of, to get ideas rolling.
I'd love to see a rendition of the battle school made by you
Fantastic piece
