Still working on my speed technique... The scenario is a father and his son trying to survive in a mysterious and alien infested environment, spending the nights in an old abandoned amphibious transport vehicle (phew). I think I managed to get a somewhat believable "horror atmosphere", I actually wanted to add some creature lurking the two from the shadows as well but I ran out of ideas hehe.. I feel like I gotta take a break soon, I've been drawing INSANELY much the past few days.. more than I'm used to anyway.. Oh well, hope you like it!

Awesome! The atmosphere is very dark and claustrophobic.

Wow thats amasing man, yeah the alien would have made a good touch, but with the back story you get the same erie feeling to it. :)

Even though the scene is of a grand scale the cliff really make it clostraphobic and opressive, so well done on setting the horror mood. I like the way you've use a dusty haze to create distance, it's very effective . The gritty textures a great and i like the design of the old wreck, reminds me of the robot transport vehicles in phantom menace.

I love the textures. It makes my speed painting look like a steaming pile of .... <insert metaphor here>

Of course my idea of speed is 10 minutes... ;)

Thanks, well speedpaint (in my book) is everything from 1 sec to 5-6h :) At least that's what seems to be the general opinion among most artists

I like it and think it's better without a lurking monster.

Glad that you draw that much. Always nice to watch!
