Ok, this painting was bothering me too much for me to let it stay in my gallery so I had to put in scraps. Thank you everyone who fav'ed and commented on it, but most of you are right, the anatomy needs much more work and this is not something representative of what a finished piece should look like in my opinion.

First of all, thank you so much for all the suggestions! I read them all and it's always so incredibly hard picking just one, but since I really liked this idea (and I also noticed a few other zombie suggestions) I chose this one. I also felt that I had to practice my non-existent character skills.
The painting itself once again inspired by adonihs and marek, whose character skills I'd kill for. Fortunately for them they're too far away, so they're safe... for now.

EDIT: I give up, I just can't get the girl the way I want her. But shouldn't be a surprise, I suck at anatomy.. I'm sorry, you're gonna have to take her as she is. The angle of her leg is intentional though, since the soldier is in the process of turning his body rapidly to the right.
