A few weeks ago me and Levente paid a visit to The tower of London, and while looking at some of these old armours and weapons I knew that I wanted to make a concept on the same theme, but I didn't want to make another fight scene. So a couple of days ago I finally got the idea to make a clean and stylish museum concept where I could include some of these things, but as it turned out I focused most of my energy on making the room look nice than having loads of armours and stuff. This is done from scratch without any photo refs or plates, which means it took a little longer than usual (two days). On the other hand it's really great practice. The lightning was a bitch on this one and could, as always, be better/more realistic. But my only concern with these pieces is that they look good as a whole and that they deliver the atmoshpere, the right look and the feeling of presence.
I saved the process for it and I'm gonna try and make a decent tutorial out of it.
I love the friendly emptiness in museums, with the sun shining through the windows. Reminds me of when I was a kid visiting museums with my dad. You captured that essence so perfectly.
it came out very fine man, i am astonished by the reflections and glass efect you pulled out... what's you processe in making this stuff? im really interested in geting some "know how" about this matter... may you give me some hints?!
Congratulations from a Museology student!
